]]>Swift is in the running in most major categories, starting with best song and best video with “Anti-Hero”. She also scored individual award nominations for best artist, best pop, best live for her The Eras Tour, biggest fans, and best US act.
The list of contenders for the best song at this year’s MTV EMAs will also include Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red”, Jung Kook’s “Seven” ft. Latto, Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers”, Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire”, SZA’s “Kill Bill”, and “Calm Down” by Rema and Selena Gomez.
The list of nominees for the best video is quite similar, with the exception of “Seven” and “Calm Down”, since “Gorilla” by Little Simz and “Bongos” by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion took the last two spots.
Swift scored seven nods at this year’s ceremony, but she’s closely followed by Olivia Rodrigo and SZA with six each. Doja Cat, Måneskin, Miley Cyrus, and Nicki Minaj are also among the major contenders with 4 nominations each.
The 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards will take place at the Paris Nord Villepinte in Paris, France on November 5.

Harry Styles came into the night with more nominations than any other artist with seven nods but only won in two minor categories—best live and best UK & Ireland act.
The list of major winners included Nicki Minaj with two awards, including the best song with the no. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Super Freaky Girl”. David Guetta also picked up two trophies – best electronic and best collaboration for “I’m Good (Blue)” ft. Bebe Rexha.
The 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards returned to Germany for the sixth time, taking place at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf. The ceremony was held on November 13, with Rita Ora and Taika Waititi serving as hosts.

]]>BTS’ most impressive victory came in the category of best song, where they managed to beat the likes of Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, and The Weeknd and pick up the top prize with “Dynamite”. They also won the awards for best group, best virtual live, and best fans.
The best video award went to “Popstar” by DJ Khaled and Drake, which featured a surprise appearance from Justin Bieber. Lady Gaga picked up the best artist award, while Karol G and Nicki Minaj came out victorious in best collaboration category with “Tusa”.
This year’s MTV Europe Music Awards took place on November 8th. The show was filmed at various locations around Europe, with Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix hosting the ceremony.

]]>Oscar-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld has been named as the host for this year’s MTV EMAs. The news was announced by the network via a Facebook Live sketch video on Thursday.
The Pitch Perfect star, who also boasts a successful music career, will also perform at the show. She’s also nominated for “Best Pop” as are Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, and Shawn Mendes.
“The EMAs are a show where anything can happen,” Steinfeld said in a press release. “I can’t wait to host a night filled with incredible artists, performances, some surprises of my own–let’s do this, Bilbao!”
“Hailee is a true global superstar renowned for her exceptional talent with a career that spans music, film and TV,” said Bruce Gillmer, global head of music and talent, Viacom and co-brand head, MTV International. “We are thrilled to have her as host for this year’s MTV EMAs in Bilbao and can’t wait to see her light up the stage with her incredible energy.”
This year’s EMAs will take place in Bilbao, Spain on November 4.

The list of contenders for the best song at this year’s MTV EMAs will also include Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red”, Jung Kook’s “Seven” ft. Latto, Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers”, Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire”, SZA’s “Kill Bill”, and “Calm Down” by Rema and Selena Gomez.
The list of nominees for the best video is quite similar, with the exception of “Seven” and “Calm Down”, since “Gorilla” by Little Simz and “Bongos” by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion took the last two spots.
Swift scored seven nods at this year’s ceremony, but she’s closely followed by Olivia Rodrigo and SZA with six each. Doja Cat, Måneskin, Miley Cyrus, and Nicki Minaj are also among the major contenders with 4 nominations each.
The 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards will take place at the Paris Nord Villepinte in Paris, France on November 5.

The 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards returned to Germany for the sixth time, taking place at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf. The ceremony was held on November 13, with Rita Ora and Taika Waititi serving as hosts.

The best video award went to “Popstar” by DJ Khaled and Drake, which featured a surprise appearance from Justin Bieber. Lady Gaga picked up the best artist award, while Karol G and Nicki Minaj came out victorious in best collaboration category with “Tusa”.
This year’s MTV Europe Music Awards took place on November 8th. The show was filmed at various locations around Europe, with Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix hosting the ceremony.

]]>Oscar-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld has been named as the host for this year’s MTV EMAs. The news was announced by the network via a Facebook Live sketch video on Thursday.
The Pitch Perfect star, who also boasts a successful music career, will also perform at the show. She’s also nominated for “Best Pop” as are Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, and Shawn Mendes.
“The EMAs are a show where anything can happen,” Steinfeld said in a press release. “I can’t wait to host a night filled with incredible artists, performances, some surprises of my own–let’s do this, Bilbao!”
“Hailee is a true global superstar renowned for her exceptional talent with a career that spans music, film and TV,” said Bruce Gillmer, global head of music and talent, Viacom and co-brand head, MTV International. “We are thrilled to have her as host for this year’s MTV EMAs in Bilbao and can’t wait to see her light up the stage with her incredible energy.”
This year’s EMAs will take place in Bilbao, Spain on November 4.
