]]>Universal Pictures has reportedly acquired the rights to the famous song list in order to develop an original film inspired by them.
Unlike the recent Bohemian Rhapsody, this film will not be a biopic. Instead, it is likely to follow the vein of Mamma Mia and Across the Universe which wielded stories based on tracks by ABBA and The Beatles, respectively.
Prince earned 8 Grammy Awards during his 41-year career and wrote over 400 songs, including When Doves Cry, Little Red Corvette, Nothing Compares 2 U and Purple Rain.
Perhaps the forthcoming film will be entitled The Ballad of Dorothy Parker…

]]>Prince’s estate has been in a big legal battle with Tidal after the two parties sued each other in 2016 over the rights to stream the pop icon’s unreleased music. Tidal released Prince’s whole work but Prince’s estate claimed that they had only been given permission to stream the hit “Hit n Run Phase One” for three months.
“Our only goal is to share Prince’s music with his fans as he wanted,” he said. “After a thoughtful and honest conversation with him, he chose TIDAL as his partner for ‘HITnRUN Phase One’ and ‘HITnRUN Phase Two’, and we will continue to respect and honor Prince’s enduring legacy and wishes with this new collection.”

]]>The post Investigation Evidence on Prince’s Death Made Public appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>Prince was found dead at the age of 57 due to an accidental overdoes of an opioid considered far more powerful than heroin mixed with the painkiller Fentanyl. Prosecutors claimed to have found counterfeit pills containing the drug inside the star’s home but could not determine the source. They concluded that no evidence indicated that the death was intentional after two years of investigation and that no charges will be filed.
Mark Metz, attorney of Carver County, said the evidence indicated that Prince thought he was taking Vicodin, which is a prescription drug, when he was in fact taking a counterfeit Vicodin pill laced with Fentanyl.
Investigation reports also reveal that the doctor who was suspected of giving the popstar counterfeit pills had been forced to pay a $30,000 fine as part of a civil settlement over accusations of illegally prescribing painkillers.
