]]>Following the eventful second installment of Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy, we are expecting big things from the third and final film. Shooting is due to start in July and according to Holland, Zendaya’s return has been confirmed.
Speaking with Inquirer, Holland revealed: “In Spider-Man 3, Zendaya will most definitely be in the film. As to the relationship between Peter [Parker] and MJ, I’m not too sure what it will be.”
When asked about the storyline of the upcoming feature, Holland described it as being “absolutely insane”. The third installment is currently untitled and we know very little in the way of storyline and cast. We are pleased to hear that Zendaya will be returning so that we can find out whether Peter Parker will finally have the chance to enjoy the relationship he so desperately wants.
Spider-Man 3 is currently scheduled for release on July 26, 2021.

]]>It was recently announced that the Marvel-Sony merge will be coming to an end. Marvel and Sony were unable to reach an agreement about the future of Spider-Man and so the teen superhero has left the Marvel Cinematic Universe altogether.
This has caused many fans to worry that the Marvel-Sony split will mean the end of Spider-Man as we know it. Tom Holland has reassured fans, however, that this is not the case.
“I’m not shy about expressing how incredible the last five years have been with Marvel,” he told CQ. “I’ve truly had the time of my life, and in so many respects, they have made my dreams come true as an actor.
“Sony has also been really good to me, and the global success of Spider-Man: Far From Home is a real testament to their support, skill, and commitment,” Holland continued. “The legacy and future of Spidey rest in Sony’s safe hands. I really am nothing but grateful, and I’ve made friends for life along the way.”
Spider-Man: Far From Home is out in movie theaters now.

]]>With this, the movie had passed the former record holder of Sony studios Skyfall. The James Bond movie has earned 1.108 billion dollars in the box offices in his theaters run worldwide.
The success of Spider-Man: Far from Home bodes well to the future of the franchise born by a collaboration between Marvel and Sony. Spider-Man is, of course, one of the comics company most popular characters but Sony Entertainment holds the creative rights for it. In 2015 the studios have agreed to work together, thus incorporating the superhero into the MCU became possible. It is safe to guess that both sides are happy with the results of this deal.
Spider-Man: Far from Home is a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. The movie which went on screens in early July sees the protagonist, peter parker, going on a field trip to Europe with his class and gets tangled up in what seems like an interdimensional war.

]]>In addition to winning the surfboard for the best action movie of the year, Endgame walked away with additional three awards – best action movie actor and actress (Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson), and best villain (Josh Brolin).
The cast members of Endgame weren’t the only ones celebrating their wins at Teen Choice Awards. Aladdin, After and Spider-Man: Far From Home also did a pretty great job and walked away with three awards each. Riverdale and Stranger Things collected the same number of surfboards in the TV field.
When it comes to the music categories, it was a big night for everyone’s favorite K-pop band BTS, since their devoted fans helped them walk away with three awards. Taylor Swift and Jonas Brothers also had a reason to celebration, after collecting honorary awards.

]]>The first three phases wrapped up with Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home, and are collectively referred to as “The Infinity Saga”.
The man in charge of all the movies — and decidedly what stays in them and what doesn’t — has been the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige. Now, as we prepare to embark on a new phase in the MCU with Black Widow and The Eternals, Feige has teased that we may yet get to see the footage that was left on the cutting room floor.
He told Empire Magazine, “If we do a big, giant Infinity Saga box set, we might include – I’m assuming if you’re going to spend the money to buy a box set with everything in it, you’re a fan. And it’ll take more than a couple of really, really bad scenes to turn you… I like sharing those scenes. And when we have something like that that we love, and which was not an easy decision to cut out but was the best decision for the movie, it’s a great avenue to say, ‘We’ll put it out there.’ It’s not like no-one will ever see it. There are things that we think nobody should ever see. And I think we’ve just recently been discussing that now we can start to show some of our less proud moments.”

]]>The film’s six-day 4th of July release has baked some major dollars for Sony hauling an estimated $185 million domestically and a whopping $395 million overseas.
The latest installment of the web-slinging hero has set several records since its debut Tuesday night including biggest Tuesday ticket sales of all time ($38 million), best Wednesday grosses for a Marvel movie ($27 million), the second-largest 4th of July holiday ($25 million) and finally Sony Pictures’ biggest six-day opening weekend ever per Variety.
The second spot in the domestic box office goes to Toy Story 4, with an estimated $34.3 million followed by musical Beatles fantasy Yesterday in third place with an estimated $10.8 million across.

]]>The Shakespeare in Love actress confessed earlier this year that she had forgotten that she filmed a scene for Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The Oscar winner filmed the brief scene for the Spider-Man sequel in 2017 and says she thought her appearance as Pepper Potts was for one of the Avengers movies.
Now her Marvel co-star and director in Iron Man and its sequel, Jon Favreau, says he totally understands why Paltrow forgot she was part of the second part of Peter Parker’s journey in which he also stars.
“With the Marvel things, they have so many films happening at the same time and all of them interweave with one another. Oftentimes you’re not exactly sure what’s happening, even me. I’m an executive producer on Endgame, I didn’t always know what was going on,” Favreau told Variety at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

]]>The sequel sees Spider-Man stepping out of his comfort
In addition to giving us more details about the plot, Far From Home features appearances from two characters we couldn’t wait to see stepping into Spider-Man’s world. Samuel L. Jackson is back to playing Nick Fury, while Jake Gyllenhaal gets to make his first appearance as classic comic book villain Mysterio.
Despite the fact this trailer provides us with some clarity, we still have A LOT of questions – and we’ll get the answer to all of them on July 5, when Spider-Man: Far From Home finally hits the theaters.

]]>Thanks to the Spider-Man: Homecoming actor’s Instagram, we now know the title of the upcoming sequel.
In a video recorded at the Ace Seattle Comic-Con, the 22-year-old expresses his own confusion at the forthcoming sequel since his character — spoiler alert — died in Avengers: Infinity War.
“There are no real revelations coming out this weekend about Spider-Man 2. I don’t know much about it. I’m a little confused because I’ve died, so I don’t really know how it all comes into play. But, I do know that I’ve got the new script, super excited to read it. And, yeah, it’s gonna be great.”
Tom then shows off his iPad which includes the script and the long-awaited title — Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The sequel, which is expected to feature Spidey in places like London, is also set to star Jake Gyllenhaal as the villain Mysterio. The film will be released on the 5th of July 2019.
Our spidey senses are already tingling.
