]]>Known by the working title Kill Switch, this film is set in 1950s Detroit and follows a group of small-time criminals brought together under mysterious circumstances, who are forced to unravel a huge mystery after the job they were hired to do goes sideways.
In addition to Harbour, Del Toro, Hamm, and Cheadle, the star-studded cast of this project also includes Amy Seimetz (Upstream Color), Ray Liotta (Goodfellas), Kieran Culkin (Succession), Brendan Fraser (The Mummy), Noah Jupe (Honey Boy), and Julia Fox (Uncut Gems).
The project started shooting on-location in Detroit under strict COVID-19 safety protocols. Soderbergh said he’s “very excited behind [his] mask right now” because things worked out really well the last time he shot a movie in Detroit with a great script and a great cast.

]]>The film based on Jake Bernstein’s non-fiction book Secrecy World follows a group of journalists uncovering the infamously shady network at the heart of the Panama Papers.
Streep plays a middle-class woman who’s been cheated of money she’s owed up against two Panama City law partners, played by Oldman and Banderas, who are very good at keeping millionaires rich.
The ensemble includes Jeffrey Wright, Sharon Stone, Melissa Rauch, Robert Patrick, and David Schwimmer.
Steven Soderbergh directed from a script by Scott Z. Burns.
The film will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
