]]>the first trailer for this intriguing film sees Efron transforming into the infamous serial killer, who reportedly murdered at least 30 women. The upcoming biopic tells Bundy’s story from the viewpoint of his girlfriend, and that’s part of the reason why the young actor was attracted to this project.
“This movie was really about a human being, somebody that perhaps I would have been friends with. And a love story from a very unique perspective. I’ve never seen that before. It’s intriguing to me,” explained Efron.
Despite his fascination with the script, the former Disney star wanted to make sure this movie is not celebration nor glorification of Ted Bundy. He described it as
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 26, but the date of theatrical release is yet to be announced.

]]>The new series, Conversations With A Killer, is taking on Ted Bundy the infamous serial killer. The new documentary series will feature never-before-heard interviews of Bundy himself.
Netflix’s official description of the series reads, ”This unique and gripping docu-series focuses on a man whose personality, good looks and social graces defied the serial-killer stereotype, allowing him to hide in plain sight as he committed the brutal sex-crime slayings of more than 30 women before being caught in 1978. While on trial, Bundy received extraordinary adoration from American women, which made his gruesome crimes doubly haunting, even in an era of anything-goes mayhem.”
Conversations With A Killer hails from director Joe Berlinger. He will also serve as executive producer alongside Justin Wilkes, Jon Doran, and Jon Kamen.
Conversations With A Killer is scheduled to premiere on Netflix this January.
