]]>Only the first few seconds of the video show actual Bebe Rexha and Snoop Dogg, while the rest of it is fully animated by Venturia Animation. The visual style draws clear inspiration from the classic 60s cartoon The Jetstones and sees the duo getting transported to a spaceship and exploring new galaxies by each other’s side.
Rexha initially sent the song to Snoop Dogg through Instagram, and she was head over heels when he got back to her. Her new album Bebe will also feature a collaboration with Dolly Parton, and she said it’s a true joy to work with these legends.
“Working with Snoop is a dream… I just try to write great songs, honestly, and then getting Dolly Parton and Snoop Dogg… It’s very reassuring to know that these icons are willing and excited to get on the songs. That’s a really cool moment for me,” she told People.
Bebe will be released on April 28 and it will also feature previously released singles “I’m Good (Blue)” ft. David Guetta, “Heart Wants What It Wants”, and “Call on Me”.

After opening a mysterious fortune cookie, Bebe Rexha is suddenly sent back in time and forced to live through several challenging historical periods.
The “Meant To Be” singer has signed with a new management firm, SAL&CO a few weeks ago. Doja Cat is also represented by this company, and that’s how they met and started working together.
“I really love Doja. I think she’s just so cute, I love her style and everything she brings. When she did her part, I was, like, ‘Wow, this is amazing.’ She’s very easy to work with and super hard-working,” Rexha told Variety.

]]>The singer developed the video alongside Sophie Muller and they set out to create “a cinematic, modern take on female empowerment and dream-big possibilities.” Rexha wanted to send a powerful message to women with this video – that they’re capable of anything and everything.
At the very beginning, we can see the singer running through the streets of Los Angeles, before being joined by a large group of fellow female athletes. The video mixes running scenes with clips from the movie, before giving Bebe Rexha her own princess moment by placing her in the world of Disney’s latest movie.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will come out on October 18th, and it will see Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning returning to their respective roles as Maleficent and Princess Aurora. The cast also includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Sam Riley.

With “Not 20 Anymore”, Bebe Rexha tried to create another empowering strong, because she feels very strong and beautiful at this point in her life, despite the constant ageism she faced in the music industry.
“Everybody is so scared about their age. All my life I’ve been kinda made to be insecure about my age, especially as a female. We’re always made to feel like that when we get older, we’re uglier. I’m a strong-a—woman,” said Rexha on Instagram.
“Not 20 Anymore” is set to be featured on her upcoming sophomore studio album, alongside her previous solo single “Last Hurrah”.
