Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is coming to theaters this week, and Bebe Rexha got us hyped just in time for its release by dropping a new video for its lead single “You Can’t Stop The Girl”.

The singer developed the video alongside Sophie Muller and they set out to create “a cinematic, modern take on female empowerment and dream-big possibilities.” Rexha wanted to send a powerful message to women with this video – that they’re capable of anything and everything.

At the very beginning, we can see the singer running through the streets of Los Angeles, before being joined by a large group of fellow female athletes. The video mixes running scenes with clips from the movie, before giving Bebe Rexha her own princess moment by placing her in the world of Disney’s latest movie.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will come out on October 18th, and it will see Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning returning to their respective roles as Maleficent and Princess Aurora. The cast also includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Sam Riley.
