There’s always a lot of anticipation surrounding the announcement of the Coachella lineup, and this year’s festival will be worth the wait! Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat have been announced as headliners, while No Doubt will reunite for a special performance.

Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat are no strangers to performing at Coachella, but their next appearance will be one for the books. Despite hitting the stage at Coachella in the past – on multiple occasions, in Tyler, the Creator’s case—this will be the first time this trio has taken the coveted headlining slots.

As for No Doubt, the iconic ’90s pop-rock band will finally reunite at Coachella, after announcing their second hiatus in 2015. The singer Gwen Stefani has been dropping hints about their potential comeback for quite some time, and they’ll officially be back to serve some 90s nostalgia at Coachella this spring.

The list of performers heading to the desert this year also includes Ice Spice, Grimes, Lil Uzi Vert, J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Reneé Rapp, Jhené Aiko, Victoria Monét, Deftones, Bizarrap, Bleachers, Bebe Rexha, Coi Leray, and Lil Yachty. We’ll get to see them hit the stage from April 12-14 and April 19-21, when the next edition of Coachella is set to take place.

Coachella wrapped up this weekend and it featured one epic performance that no one saw coming. Zendaya made a surprise return to the stage and performed the final two songs during Labrinth’s set, marking her first live performance in over seven years.

The crowd went wild when Zendaya hit the stage in a pink dress with a white tank top and thigh-high black boots. She performed two songs by his side: “I’m Tired” and “All for Us”, which were featured in her hit HBO show Euphoria.

Zendaya was ecstatic to return to the stage alongside Labrinth and thanked everyone who was there to support her on social media.

“Thank you to my brother Labrinth for inviting me and giving me the most beautiful safe space to be on a stage again. And to the crowd tonight… Wow… My heart is full, I can’t thank you enough for the love I received tonight, made my nerves melt away. I’m so grateful,” Zendaya wrote on Instagram.

Zendaya released her debut album in 2013, while she was still starring on Shake It Up and went on to star in the musical The Greatest Showman, but she’s been mostly focusing on acting in recent years. In a recent interview with Andrew Garfield for Variety, she said she doesn’t know if she could be a pop star and that she stepped away from music “for various reasons”.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival returned to the desert this past weekend, and it was worth waiting for. Frank Ocean used his headlining spot to share some exciting news with his fans and reveal he’s currently plotting his next studio album.

Frank Ocean was supposed to headline Coachella back in 2020 when the festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we’ve been waiting for him to make a comeback ever since. He finally agreed to return three years later, serving as a headliner alongside Blackpink and Bad Bunny.

Ocean’s set was shockingly removed from the livestream schedule, but fans’ clips that saw him dropping hints about his new music quickly went viral on social media.

“It’s been so long but I have missed you. I wanna talk about why I’m here, ‘cos it’s not because of a new album – not that there’s not a new album – but there’s not right now,” said Ocean during his Coachella performance.

It’s been almost seven years since Ocean dropped his last studio album Blonde in 2016, and we haven’t seen him release any new music in three years. His last two songs “Dear April” and “Cayendo” hit the shelves all the way back in 2020, marking his most recent official release.

We can count on Coachella to surprise us with an epic lineup every year, and the organizers of this festival truly outdid themselves this time around. The 2023 lineup has been announced, and Bad Bunny, Blackpink, and Frank Ocean are set to serve as the headliners.

After giving us the highest-grossing tour and one of the best-selling albums of 2022 with Un Verano Sin Ti, Bad Bunny is the best possible person to headline Coachella this year. He’ll take the stage on April 14 & 21, along with Gorillaz, Burna Boy, Blondie, and Becky G.

Blackpink will return to Coachella for the first time since 2019, making history as the first K-pop act to ever headline the festival. They’ll take the coveted Saturday slot along with Rosalía, Charlie XCX, Kid Laroi, and Labrinth on April 15 & 22.

As for Frank Ocean, he was previously scheduled as one of the headliners in 2020, before the festival was canceled due to Covid-19. He’ll have a chance to redeem himself on April 16 & 23, when Björk, Kali Uchis, and Porter Robinson are also set to perform.

The 2023 Coachella Music and Arts Festival will return to the desert during two weekends on April 14-16 and April 21-23, taking place at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.

No festival in the world gets more buzz than the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and we finally know what to expect from it next year. The dates for the 2023 edition of the festival have been announced, and organizers dropped hints about potential headliners.

As always, Coachella will come back to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California over the course of two weekends in April. According to the official announcement, the next edition of the festival will take place between April 14-16 and April 21-23, 2023. Advance tickets are going on sale on June 17 at 10 am PT, but you’ll have to act fast to get your hands on them.

As for headliners, nothing is official just yet, but Frank Ocean is expected to lead the way. He was previously set to headline the canceled 2020 festival, and co-founder Paul Tollett hinted that he’ll be back in an interview with LA Times last year.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival returned to the desert this spring, after a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and Swedish House Mafia with the Weeknd served as headliners this year, while Kanye West withdrew two weeks before the festival.

Coachella is one of the year’s most anticipated music festivals and it’s always a blast when the biggest party in the desert makes a comeback. This year’s event was one for the books and here are five performances that will be remembered.

Harry Styles

Harry Styles was definitely the king of Coachella this year. In addition to bringing several amazing guests on stage, he also teased a few new songs, starting with “Boyfriends” and “Late Night Talking”.

Anitta

Coachella features several performances by Latina superstars, but if we had to pick one that stole the show, Anitta would take the cake. The list of her A-list guests included Snoop Dogg, Saweetie, and Diplo.

Doja Cat

Doja Cat wasn’t one of Coachella’s headliners, but her performance was ready for prime-time and her set, costumes, and choreography were as show-stopping as it gets.

Arcade Fire

This year’s Coachella featured several epic surprises and Arcade Fire’s performance ahead of the release of their new album We was one of the very best.

Billie Eilish

Eilish’s live performances are a gift that keeps on giving and her latest headlining spot at Coachella was pretty epic. One of the very best moments came when Hayley Williams joined her for a rendition of Paramore’s “Misery Business”.

After being rescheduled four times, Coachella Music Festival has been moved from October 2021 to April 2022.

Even though many live-entertainment companies and prompters are at least partially resuming touring starting in late summer and fall, according to sources, the festival has been moved due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Coachella, which takes place in California, usually sells out of its 125,000 tickets per day, and having over 100,000 people traveling and gathering per day presents the possibility of the coronavirus being transmitted. Also, while the event is still months away, preparations need to start immediately, which would be challenging for event organizers.

However, this rescheduling doesn’t mean that other festivals will be canceled or moved to a new date as California has stricter COVID protocols than other states.

“There’s a big difference between having two weekend of Coachella in California and throwing a country festival in Florida,” one source told Variety.

Stagecoach, the country music-themed festival, is also expected to be moved to a later date.

Like many music festivals around the world, Coachella and Stagecoach didn’t take place last year, and we’ll have to wait a little bit longer to attend them. The 2021 edition of both festivals have been canceled due to concerns relating to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Coachella representatives decided to put the festival on hold after Riverside County health officials issued an order canceling the highly-anticipated music event. “This order is intended to reduce the likelihood of exposure to COVID-19. If COVID-19 were detected at these festivals, the scope and number of attendees and the nature of the venue would make it infeasible, if not impossible, to track those who may be placed at risk,” reads the order.

This year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was supposed to take place during two weekends this spring, on April 9-11 and 16-18. This is the third time that Coachella has been canceled since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, and the official statement by the festival organizers says they “look forward to when the events may return.”

Coachella, initially planned for April, was rescheduled for October 9 and 16 at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California, and Rage Against the Machine, Frank Ocean, and Travis Scott were set to headline. Stagecoach was scheduled for the following weekend.

“I am concerned as indications grow that COVID-19 could worsen in the fall,” said Riverside Country public health officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser said. “In addition, events like Coachella and Stagecoach would fall under [California] Governor Newsom’s Stage 4, which he has previously stated would require treatments or a vaccine to enter. Given the projected circumstances and potential, I would not be comfortable moving forward.”

Sources told Variety that Coachella promoter Goldenvoice is still considering holding the event in April or October 2021, with a smaller audience, is possible.

While many things across the country and in the world are starting to reopen, major sporting events and concerts will most likely be the last public gatherings to return.

It’s official, Coachella and Stagecoach festivals won’t be happening this year.

One of the largest annual music festivals in the US has been postponed.

The organizer of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival announced Tuesday that the festival has been officially postponed.

“At the direction of the County of Riverside and local health authorities, we must sadly confirm the rescheduling of Coachella and Stagecoach due to COVID-19 concerns,” Goldenvoice said in a statement. “While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests, staff, and community very seriously. We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.”

The festival, which was set to run over two weekends in April has been postponed until October.

“Coachella will now take place on October 9, 10 and 11 and October 16, 17 and 18, 2020. Stagecoach will take place on October 23, 24 and 25, 2020,” the statement read.
