]]>The Batman will have to face Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, DC League of Super-Pets, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder for a chance to win one of the night’s biggest awards: best superhero movie.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever also did pretty great and it scored a total of five nominations. It’s closely followed by Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Bullet Train with four nods each, while RRR, Top Gun: Maverick, and Pearl managed to score three apiece.
When it comes to the television categories, The Boys is one of the main contenders with a total of four nods, including the best superhero series. Evil, House of the Dragon, and What We Do in the Shadows are also worth watching out for since they scored four nominations each.
The Critics’ Choice Super Awards are celebrating the best action, superhero, horror, science fiction, fantasy, and animated movies of the past year, and they’ll return on March 16.

]]>Hulu’s rom-com Palm Springs was named as the best science fiction/fantasy movie, beating the likes of Love and Monsters and The Vast of Night. Its lead stars Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti also picked up the acting awards in their respective categories.
Pixar’s latest film Soul was named the best-animated movie, while its stars Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey were awarded for their voiceover performances. The list of major winners in movie categories also included Birds of Prey, Da 5 Bloods, and The Invisible Man with two awards each.
When it comes to the TV categories, Amazon’s superhero satire The Boys was the absolute winner, with a total of four awards. In addition to scooping the trophy for best superhero series, its stars Antony Starr and Aya Cash picked up acting awards, while Starr was also named as the best TV villain.
The inaugural Critics’ Choice Super Awards took place on January 10th, and the virtual ceremony was broadcasted on The CW.

]]>Hulu’s rom-com Palm Springs was named as the best science fiction/fantasy movie, beating the likes of Love and Monsters and The Vast of Night. Its lead stars Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti also picked up the acting awards in their respective categories.
Pixar’s latest film Soul was named the best-animated movie, while its stars Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey were awarded for their voiceover performances. The list of major winners in movie categories also included Birds of Prey, Da 5 Bloods, and The Invisible Man with two awards each.
When it comes to the TV categories, Amazon’s superhero satire The Boys was the absolute winner, with a total of four awards. In addition to scooping the trophy for best superhero series, its stars Antony Starr and Aya Cash picked up acting awards, while Starr was also named as the best TV villain.
The inaugural Critics’ Choice Super Awards took place on January 10th, and the virtual ceremony was broadcasted on The CW.
