It centers on the famed author Truman Capote and the drama surrounding his unfinished novel Answered Prayers, which was preceded by the ultimate betrayal of the group of female friends he called his “swans.”
Tom Hollander (The Night Manager) joined the project as Truman Capote, while the rest of the cast includes Naomi Watts as socialite Babe Paley, Chloë Sevigny as actress and fashion icon C. Z. The second season of Feud was a long time coming, and it’s been announced five years after Bette and Joan premiered in 2017. It starred Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford and Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis and it chronicled their famous feud on the set of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

According to an official press release, these two siblings inherited Shepherd Unlimited, a leading industrial conglomerate whose family foundations exert a powerful behind-the-scenes force in the American political landscape. They share a vision for the future of America, as well as a complicated past with the Underwoods.
American Crime Story star Cody Fern also joined the series as Annette’s son Duncan Shepherd. He’s an ambitious and devoted young man, who represents the next generation of rising power players in Washington. House Of Cards isn’t the only show Fern will be starring in this autumn, since he’s also been cast in American Horror Story: Apocalypse.
The new season of Netflix’s hit series will be available on November 2, but it’ll be much different from House Of Cards we’re used to. Robin Wright will have her turn in the Oval Office after taking over the lead role from the disgraced actor Kevin Spacey.
