Focus Features’ Let Him Go adds four to cast.

Multiple outlets confirm that Lesley Manville, Kayli Carter, Jeffrey Donovan, and Will Brittain are set to join the Thomas Bezucha-helmed suspense thriller.

The four will star opposite Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, the film’s leads. Let Him Go is based on the Larry Watson novel by the same name. Bezucha is directing from his own script.

The film follows retired sheriff (Costner) and wife (Lane). After the loss of their son, the couple leaves their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas. When they arrive, they discover the family has no intention of letting the child go.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Manville will play Blanche Weboy, the matriarch of the villainous family, with Brittain and Donovan playing her sons. Carter will portray Lorna, Costner and Lane’s daughter-in-law.

Paula Mazur and Mitchell Kaplan will produce alongside Bezucha. Costner will executive produce with Kimi Armstrong Stein, Jeffrey Lampert, and Rod Lake.
