The second season of Ryan Murphy’s Feud is just around the corner and he’s doing a great job rounding out its cast. Chloë Sevigny, Tom Hollander, Calista Flockhart, and Diane Lane are set to star alongside Naomi Watts in Feud: Capote’s Women.

The second chapter of this riveting anthology series will be based on Laurence Leamer’s book Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era. It centers on the famed author Truman Capote and the drama surrounding his unfinished novel Answered Prayers, which was preceded by the ultimate betrayal of the group of female friends he called his “swans.”

Tom Hollander (The Night Manager) joined the project as Truman Capote, while the rest of the cast includes Naomi Watts as socialite Babe Paley, Chloë Sevigny as actress and fashion icon C. Z. Guest, Calista Flockhart as Jackie Kennedy’s younger sister Lee Radziwill, and Diane Lane as socialite Slim Keith. Two-time Oscar nominee Gus Van Sant is coming on board to direct all eight episodes.

The second season of Feud was a long time coming, and it’s been announced five years after Bette and Joan premiered in 2017. It starred Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford and Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis and it chronicled their famous feud on the set of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
