]]>The season contains 22 episodes and it will drop in one go on the streaming platform on November 6th. It will join more than 600 episodes already available on Disney+.
As in previous seasons, the 31st season contains various celebrity guest appearances. Among others, we’ll get to hear Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Billy Porter, Jason Momoa, John Mulaney, Joey King, Kevin Smith, Jim Parsons, Cate Blanchett, Chrissy Teigen, and Lilly Singh. John Legend and Weezer will give musical performances.
The season will also see the 30th Treehouse of Horror episode—a beloved series tradition since it’s second season. This time, the episode will also return to CGI animation as it did back in Treehouse of Horror VI in 1996. Back then Homer was transformed to 3D as an accident took him to “the real world”. Over the years the show used these episodes to experiment with different kinds of styles such as LEGO, puppetry, and even a live version.

]]>According to the reports, the show is in very early stages of production and was not even formally ordered. Kyle Bradstreet is set to be the show’s writer and executive producer. He is known for his work on Mr. Robot.
Although it is not Jackson’s first time on television, it will surely be his most prominent role. He appeared as Nick Fury in two episodes of MCU’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He also appeared in eight episodes of The Boondocks and starred in an anime miniseries called Afro Samurai as well as in the TV movie Afro Samurai: Resurrection.
The new show joins an increasingly long list of Marvel shows in different stages of development for Disney+. Later this year, the service will release WandaVision while The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was delayed to 2021. Other shows on the list include Loki, What If…?, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon-Knight.

]]>Deadline reports that the show’s intended director Tony Gilroy will not sit in the chair. The show will be helmed by Black Mirror director Toby Haynes. According to some sources, the change is due to travel issues for Gilroy who lives in New York while the production takes place in the UK.
Diego Luna is set to return to his character of Cassian Andor from Rogue One. Also to star in the series are Alan Tudyk, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgard, and Kyle Soller.
Haynes will direct the first three episodes of the series and sources say he will probably direct future episodes as well. Apart from Black Mirror, Haynes directed episodes in shows such as Doctor Who, Sherlock, Being Human, Wallander, and more. Gilroy will remain the show’s showrunner, executive producer, and writer.
The show will follow the beginning of the rebellion against the Empire and it is described as a spy thriller. It will be streamed on Disney +.

]]>As the trailer begins, we see the two characters, played by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, living a perfect ’50s suburban life as a traditional couple, filmed in black and white. As the trailer progresses this reality starts to unveil.
Starting with a strange meeting with their neighbors, the world around them begins to change. The events of Avengers: Endgame are mentioned—along with the fact that Vision is supposed to be dead. The trailer leaves the viewers wondering what brought on this Pleasantville version of life and what will happen to the couple next.
The exact release date of WandaVision is yet to be confirmed as the trailer does not mention it and ends with a simple “coming soon”. WandaVision will consist of 6 episodes which will be streamed on Disney+. Jac Shaeffer is serving as the series’ showrunner.
As Scarlet Witch is due to play a big role in the upcoming Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, we can expect the series’ story will lead us towards the movie’s.

]]>Maslany is best known for her multiple roles on Orphan Black. As the series revolves around almost a dozen different women leading different lives who find out they are all clones, Maslamy has experience in portraying multiple personalities. This is a fact that can help her in the new role.
In the series, Maslany will play Jen Walters Esq., Bruce Banner’s cousin who gets an emergency blood transfusion from him and thus gets his tendency to become a mean, green, smashing machine. Unlike her cousin, Walters remains in full control of her faculties when she transforms into She-Hulk. She can also go between her two personalities at will.
Kat Coiro is set to be the show’s director and will also act as an executive producer. Jessica gao is the showrunner of the yet to be titled series. She will also act as an executive producer and the show’s writer.
The series is due to be streamed on Disney+ in 2022.

]]>Disney will be releasing the film theatrically in markets where Disney + isn’t available and theaters are open.
“In the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, and a number of countries, we will be offering on Disney+, the epic Mulan on a premiere access beginning September 4, with the price point being $29.99 in the U.S.,” CEO Bob Chapek said during the company’s earnings call.
“We’re pleased to bring Mulan to a consumer base that’s been waiting for it as we’ve had to move our (release) dates several times…We’re looking at Mulan as a one-off as opposed trying to say that there’s a new business windowing model,” he added.
Mulan was initially supposed to be released on March 27 and since then it’s been delayed multiple times. On July 23, Disney took the film off the calendar temporarily.
