]]>Caracalla went down as a pretty polarizing figure in Roman history, and he’s often seen as a tyrannical and cruel leader. Even though he granted citizenship to all free men throughout the Roman Empire and revolutionized Rome’s currency policy, he’s best remembered for the brutal massacres he ordered throughout the Roman Empire.
Since plot details are still being kept under wraps, it’s unclear how close Gladiator 2 will stick to history. Paul Mescal will lead the sequel in the role of Lucius, and he’ll be joined by Barry Keoghan and Denzel Washington in mystery roles. Connie Nielsen closed the deal to reprise her role as Lucilla, becoming the first member of the original cast to confirm her return.
Joseph Quinn’s star has been on the rise ever since he played the fan-favorite character Eddie Munson in the fourth season of Stranger Things. We’ll next get to see him in A Quiet Place: Day One alongside Lupita Nyong’o, and he’s also attached to Luna Cameroon’s Hoard.
