Halloweens’ Michael Myers will finally be unmasked and the moment was revealed in the final trailer for the upcoming Halloween Kills.

The latest installment in the franchise has Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role as Laurie Strode trying to end serial killer Michael Myers once and for all. The final trailer has tons of action and scares as survivors attempt to kill Myers.

The movie is the sequel to 2018’s Halloween and the 12th installment in the slasher franchise which was created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. Both films take place in the Carpenter-Hill universe and are sequels to the 1978 original.

The most anticipated moment in the trailer is Myers having his mask removed, showing his face, which only happened briefly in the first film. In other installments, his head has been shown with his face obscured.

Halloween Kills is produced by Malek Akkad, Jason Blum, and Bill Block.

The movie comes to theaters and on Peacock on October 15. Watch the final trailer below.

Halloween is killing in the box office.

The reboot of the horror franchise has had an impressive opening weekend earning $77.5 million in North America.

The sequel to John Carpenter’s 1978 classic has scored the second-highest October opening ever, behind Venom’s $80.3 million earlier this month. Overseas, Halloween generated $14.3 million this weekend.

The film ignores the nine other remakes and picks up 40 years later, with Laurie Strode (Curtis) preparing for her inevitable rematch with masked killer Michael Myers,(James Jude Courtney).

“I am enormously proud of this film,” Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions, who co-financed the film with Miramax said in a statement. “Halloween brings the franchise back to life in a fresh, relevant and fun way that is winning over fans and critics alike.”

“There had been quite some time between the original film,” Jim Orr, Universal’s president of domestic distribution said. “You combine that with the return of a tremendous star in Jamie Lee Curtis, great writing, great filmmaking. All of that comes together as a perfect storm.”

Curtis celebrated the film’s opening on Twitter, writing, “OK. I’m going for one BOAST post.  Biggest horror movie opening with a female lead. Biggest movie opening with a female lead over 55. Second biggest October movie opening ever. Biggest Halloween opening ever.”

Rounding out the top five this weekend are A Star Is Born, with about $19.3 million; Venom, with about $18.1 million; Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, with about $9.7 million; and First Man, with about $8.6 million.

When you hear the name Jamie Lee Curtis, you inevitably think of Halloween, one of the most iconic horror movies ever made. It kicked off her career in 1979 with the John Carpenter classic and she is returning as Laurie Strode in David Gordan Green’s highly anticipated sequel in 2018.

Despite being a name inseparable with the horror genre, the star has admitted that she does not like horror movies. In fact, she hates being scared altogether. In an interview with NME, she said:

“I do not like horror movies. I do not say this for a joke, although it gets a laugh, I really don’t. There’s nothing I like about being scared. I’m this person [puts hands over her face]. I sing songs to myself when things are terrifying,” she said.

“I mean, f***ing Aladdin scared me. I’m not joking! You know when Jafar becomes a dragon? With his red eyes and stuff? That s**t scared me.”

The 2018 Halloween is showing in cinemas in the US as of October 19.

It is not unusual for films to inspire acts of heroism, and that is exactly what happened to a guy named Joseph Scott.

Joseph attended this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego for one specific purpose — to meet Jamie Lee Curtis.

The 59-year-old actress was at the event to promote the sequel to her 1978 thriller, Halloween. The film tells the story of serial killer, Michael Myers, who kills teenage babysitters on the night of Halloween. Eeek! The movie, which turns 40 this year, inspired Joseph how to act when an intruder came into his home.

Speaking to Jamie who was on the Halloween panel, Joseph revealed to the audience that he was at home when a stranger cut his phone line and broke into his house.

“Our dog, Duchess, bit up these knitting needles and I grabbed them out of the trash and I saw the guy with the knife on one side of the house. I was scared out of my mind and out of nowhere this thought came inside of me, ‘What would Jamie Lee Curtis do?’ I ran out, ran down to the neighbors, started screaming like you did in the movie. To make a long story short, I’m here today because of the way that you portrayed Laurie Strode. I’m a victor today instead of a victim.”

The actress was understandably moved to tears (we are too!) and spent time speaking with Joseph backstage following the panel.

Let’s see what Jamie Lee Curtis does in the new Halloween which comes out October 19th.

The new, highly anticipated Halloween trailer has been released and it looks like a sequel we can definitely get behind.

The upcoming movie is directed by David Gordon Green and has been co-written by Danny McBride. Forty years on, Jamie Lee Curtis will be reprising her role as Laurie Strode in the original 1978 movie.

The trailer starts by explicitly letting us know that the movie will be a continuation of the previous events of the original features. Our iconic masked villain, Michael Myers, is in a high-security prison where he has been since his arrest for the murder of three teenage girls on the night of Halloween 40 years ago. The trailer then cuts to Laurie Strode in her hometown, who admits that she prays every night that he will escape. Why? So that she can kill him.

Obviously, our villain does indeed escape and immediately begins making up for lost time. Reunited with his mask, we see a woman murdered in a garage and another being dragged across a public toilet. The trailer has all the ingredients for a decent horror. The characters are instantly compelling as we have already fallen with them, and the atmosphere is creepy as well as there being some genuinely jumpy moments. Fans will also be delighted to hear John Carpenter’s original theme music included.
