Down previously worked with Netflix on the dance-comedy film Feel the Beat which starred Sofia Carson, Wolfgang Novogratz, and Lidya Jewett.
Ferguson is best known for his role in Modern Family and he’s next set to star in Elizabeth Banks’ Cocaine Bear and the Broadway revival of Take Me Out in Spring 2022. Lynch has won five Emmys for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Dropping the Soap, Hollywood Game Night, and Glee.
Pieterse starred in Pretty Little Liars and its spinoff The Perfectionists. Vardalos got a nomination for original screenplay for My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

]]>The cast and creators of Party Down discussed a possible reunion at a recent Vulture Festival, and most of them seem to be on board with the idea. Don’t get your hopes up just yet though, since we’re not getting the long-rumored follow-up movie.
“I don’t think a movie’s in the cards, but in the next year or two we’ll explore some ways to bring the gang back together,” said Rob Thomas, who created this show with John Enbom, Dan Etheridge and Paul Rudd.
Actress Megan Mullally was also on board with the idea, while Jane Lynch described her days on set as “truly a blessed time” and “the most fun I had doing a job”. They starred alongside Adam Scott, Ken Marino and Lizzy Caplan in this sitcom about a group of caterers who are dreaming of making it big in Hollywood until it was canceled in 2010 after two seasons.

This is Lynch’s fifth Emmy to date – she previously won one for starring in Glee and Dropping the Soap and additional two for hosting Hollywood Game Night.
While discussing her upcoming Netflix show, also starring Cyndi Lauper, Jane Lynch described it by saying, “We’re our ages now. I’m almost 60, and she’s 65. We’re looking for our next act and we haven’t had children.” She didn’t spill any more details, apart from comparing her next project to the iconic sitcom Golden Girls.
We can’t wait to learn more about this promising series. Meantime, Deadline reports it’s created by Stephen Engel and Carol Leifer and set to be produced by Skydance Television, which previously gave us Grace and Frankie.
