]]>Sarah Aubrey, Max’s head of content, revealed that this series ranks as the No. 1 Max original overall and is the most-watched returning Max original to date, and added they’re delighted to bring it back for another season.
“As we approach the highly anticipated season finale on Thursday, we raise our cosmos to Michael Patrick King and his magnificent team of writers, producers, cast, and crew who continue to charm us, 25 years later, with dynamic friendships and engaging stories,” said Aubrey in a statement.
Season 2 of And Just Like That… saw Carrie reconnecting with her old fling Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) in the aftermath of the death of her beloved husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth). Miranda’s journey of self-discovery continued in Season 2, while Charlotte tried to figure out her identity outside of being a devoted wife and mother.
Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in S-x and the City, is expected to return for a cameo in the Season 2 finale, set to premiere on August 24.

]]>The new teaser for Season 2 shows Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) living it up in New York City. Carrie is finally back on her feet after losing her husband Big, but the trailer hints at a major shift in her life, as her ex-fiancé Aidan (John Corbett) arrives back on her doorstep.
Season 2 will also star Sarah Ramirez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Niall Cunningham, Alexa Swinton, and Ivan Hernandez. The first teaser also features three brand-new cast members – Victor Garber, Oliver Hudson, and Gary Dourdon.
The S-x and the City revival series premiered on HBO Max in late 2021 and scored HBO Max’s most-watched series debut following its premiere. Despite being billed as a mini-series, And Just Like That… was promptly renewed for its second season, which is set to premiere sometime in June.

Michael Patrick King was in charge of developing the series for HBO Max and he’s thrilled to come back for another season.
“I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters – played by these powerful, amazing actors. The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just like That… our Sex life is back,” King said in a statement.
And Just Like That… premiered on HBO Max on December 9, 2021, and went on to become an instant hit for the streamer, scoring the most-viewed series premiere for a new original series. The season finale was aired on February 3, together with the behind-the-scenes special And Just Like That… The Documentary.

Two movies followed in 2008 and 2010, receiving negative reviews from the critics. However, they were a huge success with the audience, earning $415 and $294 million at the box office respectively.
After the release of Sex and the City 2 in 2010, Kristin Davis shifted her attention away from the movies. She appeared in CBS’ TV show Bad Teacher in 2014, but the show was canceled after only three episodes were aired. Davis also tried her luck in theater appearing in Broadway’s play The Best Man in 2012. She also appeared in West End’s Fatal Attraction as Beth Gallagher.
