And Just Like That… proved to be a worthy successor to Sex and the City and we still haven’t seen the last of it. Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte will return in another chapter of this exciting story after HBO announced this series has been renewed for another season.

And Just Like That… saw Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis reprise their respective roles from the original series and reunite on the streets of NYC. The series showed the trio trying to navigate the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

Michael Patrick King was in charge of developing the series for HBO Max and he’s thrilled to come back for another season.

“I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters – played by these powerful, amazing actors. The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just like That… our Sex life is back,” King said in a statement.

And Just Like That… premiered on HBO Max on December 9, 2021, and went on to become an instant hit for the streamer, scoring the most-viewed series premiere for a new original series. The season finale was aired on February 3, together with the behind-the-scenes special And Just Like That… The Documentary.
