The Abandons is a western action drama set in 1850s Oregon, and it centers on a group of lost souls living on the margins of society. When corrupt forces of wealth and power try to force them out of their land, they must unite their tribes to form a family to fight back.

Headey’s character Fiona has been described as a strong, devout matriarch who took in four orphans to create her own family since he’s unable to have her own children. Her love for family trumps all in this intriguing drama that explores the fine line between survival and law.

Sutter, whose previous credits include The Shield and Sons of Anarchy, serves as creator, showrunner, and executive producer of The Abandons. He’s producing alongside Stephen Surjik, Emmy Grinwis, and prototype director Otto Bathurst.

Headey’s post-Game of Thrones projects include several voiceover roles on animated shows and the Netflix action thriller Gunpowder Milkshake. She’ll soon star alongside Woody Harrelson, Justin Theroux, and Domhnall Gleeson in White House Plumbers.

Deadline reports that Mark Hamill, who is best known as Star Wars’ Luke Skywalker will voice the evil Skeletor. Hamill is no stranger to voicing villains as he voiced the Joker in Batman: The animated series.

Other noteworthy casting includes Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as Teela, Lena Heady (Game of Thrones) as Evil-lyn, Chris Wood (Supergirl) as Prince Adam/He-Man, Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones) as Man-At-Arms, Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops, Stephen Root and Diedrich Bader from office Space as Cringer and King Randor/Trap Jaw, Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) as Queen Marlena, Justin Long (Galaxy Quest) as roboto, Jason Mewes (clerks) as Stinkor, Kevin Michael Richardson (The Batman) as Beast Man, and Phil LaMarr (MAD TV) as He-Ro. Alan Oppenheimer who voiced the original Skeletor will voice Moss Man.

Amidst all of Cersei’s stories, the question remained — was there even a baby, after all?

Whilst at a comic book convention in Germany, Headey revealed a deleted scene would have answered the question.

“We shot a scene that never made it into Season 7 which was where I lose the baby. And it was really kind of traumatic and great moment for Cersei and it never made it in,” she revealed. “I really would have loved doing that because I thought it would have served her differently.”

We almost feel sorry for Cersei…
