“Masters of the Universe: Revelation” Gets an All-Star Cast

The classic franchise Masters of the Universe is getting a reboot on Netflix with Kevin Smith as the showrunner and executive producer and Susan Corbin as a producer. The anime series will continue the stories of its characters decades after the original series concluded. Now, the all-star cast of the series, Masters of the Universe: Revelation, produced by Mattel Television, is revealed.

Deadline reports that Mark Hamill, who is best known as Star Wars’ Luke Skywalker will voice the evil Skeletor. Hamill is no stranger to voicing villains as he voiced the Joker in Batman: The animated series.

Other noteworthy casting includes Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as Teela, Lena Heady (Game of Thrones) as Evil-lyn, Chris Wood (Supergirl) as Prince Adam/He-Man, Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones) as Man-At-Arms, Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops, Stephen Root and Diedrich Bader from office Space as Cringer and King Randor/Trap Jaw, Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) as Queen Marlena, Justin Long (Galaxy Quest) as roboto, Jason Mewes (clerks) as Stinkor, Kevin Michael Richardson (The Batman) as Beast Man, and Phil LaMarr (MAD TV) as He-Ro. Alan Oppenheimer who voiced the original Skeletor will voice Moss Man.
