Jennifer Lopez may be set to embark on her world tour, It’s My Party, but she’s also going back to a place where we fell in love with her – the world of romcoms.

The “Ain’t Your Mama” singer has a slew of romantic comedies in her repertoire, including Maid in Manhattan, The Back-Up Plan, and The Wedding Planner.

It has now been announced that she will be starring alongside fellow romcom alum, Owen Wilson, in a film from STXFilms.

The movie is entitled Marry Me, which seems fitting as J.Lo just got engaged to longtime boyfriend Alex Rodriguez!

Based on a graphic novel, Marry Me is about a pop star bride who ditches her lying, cheating groom at the altar in front of a crowd of thousands, and in the spirit of “the show must go on,” picks a random man in attendance (played by Wilson) and goes through with the ceremony!

Kat Coiro, who has directed episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, will be helming the project.

We’re giving it a big, “Yes!”
