Universal has announced that Jennifer Lopez’s Marry Me has been moved from May 14, 2021 to Valentine’s Day Weekend, February 11, 2022.

Lopez is set to star as music superstar Kat Valdez who is about to marry another music star Bastian, played by Maluma, in front of a huge audience of fans. Right before she says her vows, she learns that Bastian has been unfaithful and she decides to marry Owen Wilson’s Charlie Gilbert, a stranger in the crowd, instead.

The film’s an unlikely romance about two people looking for something meaningful in a world that bases value on likes and followers. Marry Me will feature original songs from Lopez and Latin singer Maluma.

Also starring in the film are John Bradley (Game of Thrones), Michelle Buteau (Michelle Buteau: Welcome to Buteaupia), and Utkarsh Ambudkar (Mulan).

Kat Corio (Dead to Me) will direct and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Lopez’s producing partner, and Benny Medina will produce.
