]]>Deadline reports that Mark Hamill, who is best known as Star Wars’ Luke Skywalker will voice the evil Skeletor. Hamill is no stranger to voicing villains as he voiced the Joker in Batman: The animated series.
Other noteworthy casting includes Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as Teela, Lena Heady (Game of Thrones) as Evil-lyn, Chris Wood (Supergirl) as Prince Adam/He-Man, Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones) as Man-At-Arms, Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops, Stephen Root and Diedrich Bader from office Space as Cringer and King Randor/Trap Jaw, Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) as Queen Marlena, Justin Long (Galaxy Quest) as roboto, Jason Mewes (clerks) as Stinkor, Kevin Michael Richardson (The Batman) as Beast Man, and Phil LaMarr (MAD TV) as He-Ro. Alan Oppenheimer who voiced the original Skeletor will voice Moss Man.

]]>Masters of the Universe: Revelation will focus on some of the unresolved storylines from the beloved ‘80s franchise. Smith seems like the perfect person for the job, since he happens to be a huge fan of Mattel’s series.
“I’m Eternia-ly grateful to Mattel TV and Netflix for entrusting me with not only the secrets of Grayskull, but also their entire Universe, In Revelation, we pick up right where the classic era left off to tell an epic tale of what may be the final battle between He-Man and Skeletor!” the filmmaker said in an official statement.
This won’t be the first Masters of the Universe inspired project developed by Netflix. This streaming service is also a home to animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, which currently has three seasons.
