]]>The Theo Skudra-directed visual opens with Drake and Wallen dining at a fancy restaurant and reminiscing about their doomed relationships over drinks. “I didn’t like her. I think she might have been the wrong girl anyway,” Wallen tells Drake before they decide to let bygones be bygones and head out while the night is still young.
After the duo drives away, the camera pans to two women, played by Grace Matthews and Taylor Morris, and shows them blowing up the car that the two singers were in. They celebrate the job well done while dancing their hearts out and refuse to stop even after the cops show up.
“You Broke My Heart” was released as a bonus track on For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition, the reissue of Drake’s eighth studio album For All the Dogs. It hit the shelves on November 17, about a month after the original album, and featured six new songs, including “Evil Ways” ft. J. Cole, “Red Button”, and “Wick Man”.

]]>The post Morgan Wallen Ties for Fifth-Longest Billboard Hot 100 Reign With “Last Night” appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>“Last Night” was briefly dethroned by Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire” last week, but it promptly returned to No. 1. With 75.4 million radio airplay audience impressions, 28.6 million streams, and 7,000 downloads, Wallen topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 14th non-consecutive week and made history along the way.
“Last Night” is now the fifth longest-running No. 1 song in the history of the chart, and it’s in pretty good company. The list of songs with 14 weeks at No. 1 also includes “Uptown Funk!” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, “I Gotta Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas, and “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston, while all-time record is still held by Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” ft. Billy Ray Cyrus with 19 weeks on top.
“Last Night” was released as one of the singles from Wallen’s third studio album One Thing at a Time, which came out on March 3. It spent 15 weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart, surpassing Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti for most weeks at No. 1 this decade.

]]>The post Morgan Wallen Spends Full Month at No. 1 With “One Thing at a Time” appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>One Thing at a Time earned 197,000 equivalent album units during its latest week on the chart, including 177,500 SEA units (equaling 235.76 million on-demand official streams), 17,000 album sales, and 2,500 TEA units.
One Thing at a Time stopped several highly-anticipated albums from reaching No. 1 throughout March, and that trend continued this week. Most notably, BTS’ Jimin failed to top the chart with his first solo album FACE, settling for No. 2 instead. Lana Del Rey was right behind, and her new album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd ended up debuting at No. 3.
One Thing at a Time hit the shelves on March 3, and it managed to earn 501,000 album-equivalent units during its first week on the Billboard 200, scoring the biggest debut for an album this year. All 36 tracks from this record entered the Billboard Hot 100, setting a new record for most charted songs by an artist at the same time.

]]>The post Morgan Wallen Scores the Biggest Debut of 2023 with New Album “One Thing at a Time” appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>One Thing at a Time debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart with 501,000 equivalent album units earned. This marks the largest week for a country album since Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version) and the largest week for an album overall since Swift’s own Midnights.
Wallen owes the album’s huge success to its impressive streaming numbers, with 498.28 million on-demand official streams over the album’s 36 tracks. This is the largest streaming week for a country album and the fifth-largest week for any album overall.
One Thing at a Time hit the shelves on March 3 and produced singles “You Proof”, “Thought You Should Know”, and “Last Night” before its release. Wallen once again relied on a huge track number to push his album to the top of the charts – 36 songs this time around – after using a similar strategy with his previous chart-topper Dangerous: The Double Album. This album featured 30 songs across two discs and it spent ten weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart.

]]>The double album is Wallen’s second studio effort, and his first album to debut atop the Billboard 200, with 265,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week on the chart. It came out on January 8th, and it features a total of 30 tracks, divided into two discs.
Dangerous also managed to set the record for the largest streaming week for a country album, with 240.18 million on-demand streams of all the songs from this record. The record was previously held by Luke Combs’ What You See Is What You Get with 102.26 million streams.
To make the whole thing even more impressive, Wallen also had the third-largest streaming week for a non-R&B/hip-hop album. The top two spots are still held by Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next (307.07 million in its debut week) and Taylor Swift’s Folklore (289.85 million in its debut week).
