Morgan Wallen’s last album spent ten weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart, and he’s gearing up for another big triumph. The country star returned to no. 1 with his third studio album One Thing at a Time, which scored the biggest debut for an album this year so far.

One Thing at a Time debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart with 501,000 equivalent album units earned. This marks the largest week for a country album since Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version) and the largest week for an album overall since Swift’s own Midnights.

Wallen owes the album’s huge success to its impressive streaming numbers, with 498.28 million on-demand official streams over the album’s 36 tracks. This is the largest streaming week for a country album and the fifth-largest week for any album overall.

One Thing at a Time hit the shelves on March 3 and produced singles “You Proof”, “Thought You Should Know”, and “Last Night” before its release. Wallen once again relied on a huge track number to push his album to the top of the charts – 36 songs this time around – after using a similar strategy with his previous chart-topper Dangerous: The Double Album. This album featured 30 songs across two discs and it spent ten weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart.
