The artist confirmed the April digital drop of her new album titled Fetch the Bolt Cutters. Apple announced the news in a video, which was shared via the Fiona Apple Rocks Tumblr page.

Apple has been teasing new music for the past year, and in a recent interview with the New Yorker, she even revealed the names of several of the album’s songs, including “On I Go,” “The Drumset Is Gone,” “Rack of His,” “Kick Me Under the Table,” “Ladies,” “For Her,” “Shameka,” “Heavy Balloon” and “I Want You to Love Me.”

The singer has dropped a new song from the live-action remake of the Disney classic titled “Loyal Brave True.”Aguilera made her charts debut in 1998 with the song “Reflection” from the original animated film.

“The film Mulan and the song ‘Reflection’ coincided with getting me my first record deal,” Aguilera said in a statement.

“It’s amazing to come back to such an incredible movie that’s full of power and meaning, and that meaning holds the test of time: staying true to yourself, being who you are, and teaching how to be fearless. My new song, ‘Loyal Brave True,’ represents the fine balance between vulnerability and strength.”

“Loyal Brave True” was written by Jamie Hartman, Harry Gregson-Williams, Rosi Golan, and Billy Crabtree.

The singer-songwriter took to social media Tuesday to announce that her next single titled “Stupid Love,” drops Friday at midnight. 

The lead single from Gaga’s upcoming sixth full-length will be the first material she has released since the Star Is Born soundtrack. 

While details are scant and Gaga and remained super vague on details since announcing the album last year, it is speculated that the album will be titled Chromatica as the word appears in the artwork.

Archers of Loaf’s last album came out in 1998 but now they’ve shared a mysterious teaser that hints that they have new music en route.

The 40-second clip posted on YouTube features performance footage of the North Carolina band. At the end of the video, the screen goes black and the words “The Return of the Loaf” appear. 

Luckily, fans weren’t kept in the dark for too long. In addition to the teaser video, the band announced a bunch of 2020 tour dates and teased “more hubbub in the coming weeks,” on their new website. Archer’s of Loaf will kick off their run of shows with a gig in Carrboro, North Carolina on February 21 before wrapping things up on March 14 in Boston

Archers of Loaf released four albums before initially breaking up in 1998. The band later reunited in 2011.

A previously unheard song titled “This Is How (We Want You To Get High)” by George Michael has been unveiled Wednesday. It is the first piece of music of Micheal to be released in seven years and three years after the pop icon’s death. 

The single was recorded during Michael’s final studio sessions. Its release comes just days before a film Last Christmas, devoted to his decades-spanning discography, is set for release across the US and UK. The film was co-written by Emma Thompson and stars Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding. 

“This new track we proudly send as his gift to you this season to bring you all love and festive joy…Whoever you worship…Whoever you love…” said Michael’s sisters, father, and longtime manager, David Austin in a statement.

Monday was a very good day for Harry Styles fans as the 25-year-old singer announced that his new album, Fine Line ,is officially coming next month. 

The album, which is Styles’ second studio album, will drop on December 13. By the time the sophomore album arrives, it’ll be more than two years since Styles released his acclaimed self-titled debut album. 

Just last month the pop star ended his two-year musical hiatus with a new single Lights Up and even treating fans to an extra moody music video that you can watch below.

The dozen tracks recorded in 1975 on a cassette were discovered in the archives of the Warhol Museum. The songs were inspired by Warhol’s book The Philosophy of Andy Warhol (From A to B and Back Again).

“It sounds like he recorded them in his apartment with an open-air microphone, just voice, and acoustic guitar,” said Judith Peraino, professor of music at Cornell University, who made the discovery.

Once she realized that she had basically discovered an unreleased Lou Reed album, “That’s when the excitement really hit,” she said. “What makes this rare is the gift aspect of the tape —that Lou Reed intentionally created both a curated set of songs and a composed set of songs on tape meant only for Warhol.”

But Reed and Warhol fans shouldn’t get too excited yet, according to The Rolling Stone, due to conflicting rights, it is unlikely the tape will ever see commercial release.
