]]>The short clip doesn’t reveal much of the plot, but it perfectly captures the essence of Season 5. According to Amazon’s official logline, in the next chapter of the story, Midge will find herself closer than ever to the success she’s dreamed of, only to discover that closer than ever is still so far away.
The teaser kicks off with the flashing lights of photographers, who are all calling her name. As the camera zooms out, we get to see our favorite stand-up comedienne Miriam “Midge” Maisel proudly posing for the photographers in a stunning red dress, beaming with pride.
Rachel Brosnahan will return to the role of the titular heroine – a New York housewife, whose life turns upside down after she decides to pursue a career in stand-up comedy following her divorce. Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, Reid Scott, Alfie Fuller, and Jason Ralph will join her in supporting roles.
Season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will premiere on Amazon on April 14 with the first three episodes, with new episodes streaming weekly.

]]>After the two-year-long break, Season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is set to premiere on February 18th, 2022, with two episodes released weekly.
The new teaser opens with Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) and Susie (Alex Borstein) sitting at a diner and discussing their plans for the future. Midge tells Susie she only wants to do gigs that allow her to be herself and say whatever’s on her mind, even if that means completely changing the business along the way.
According to the official logline of Season 4, Midge finds a gig with total creative freedom while looking to hone her act. The tricky part? Her commitment to her craft—and the places it takes her—creates a rift between her and the family and friends around her.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel originally premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2017 and became one of the streamer’s biggest hits so far. Its first season won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for the best comedy series, while Brosnahan picked up awards for the best lead actress in a comedy series.

]]>Roma won in four categories: best picture, director, cinematography and foreign film. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Cuarón picking up these same awards at a couple more awards ceremonies, since he’s a front runner in at least two of these categories.

]]>Brosnahan secured this hosting gig shortly after winning her second Golden Globe on Sunday night. She received an award for the best performance by an actress in a television series – musical or comedy for playing titular character in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Rachel Brosnahan thanked Hollywood Foreign Press Association for putting this show on the map and gave a special shout-out to Amy Sherman-Palladino, who created this series. The actress also joked about putting her first Golden Globe on a shelf in her toilet – it was apparently the only available
This is just the kind of humor fans of Saturday Night Live would enjoy, and Brosnahan already seems like a perfect host. She also gets bonus points for becoming a household name while playing an aspiring stand-up comic.
