Saturday Night Live is coming back for its first show of 2019 in less than two weeks, and we finally know who’s going to host it. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan will make her debut on this sketch comedy on January 19.

Brosnahan secured this hosting gig shortly after winning her second Golden Globe on Sunday night. She received an award for the best performance by an actress in a television series – musical or comedy for playing titular character in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Rachel Brosnahan thanked Hollywood Foreign Press Association for putting this show on the map and gave a special shout-out to Amy Sherman-Palladino, who created this series. The actress also joked about putting her first Golden Globe on a shelf in her toilet – it was apparently the only available place, since she lives in New York.

This is just the kind of humor fans of Saturday Night Live would enjoy, and Brosnahan already seems like a perfect host. She also gets bonus points for becoming a household name while playing an aspiring stand-up comic.
