]]>The Office led the way with 57.1 billion total minutes of streaming, easily beating its competition. We’re yet to see if it will be just as popular in 2021 after ending its run on Netflix and moving to NBCUniversal’s newly-launched streaming service Peacock.
Grey’s Anatomy came in second with 39.4 billion streaming minutes, and Criminal Minds wasn’t far behind with a total of 35.4 billion streaming minutes. The list was mostly dominated by series that originated on broadcast networks, but a couple of original managed to sneak their way in.
Ozark was apparently our favorite Netflix original to watch in quarantine, with 30.5 billion streaming minutes throughout 2020. The Crown and Tiger King also made the cut, and the only non-Netflix show to make it to the list was The Mandalorian, which is streaming on Disney+.

]]>More than a dozen The Office alums got back together virtually to celebrate one very lucky couple’s wedding.
Monday’s installment of John Krasinski’s life-in-quarantine YouTube show, Some Good News, featured an online wedding. The ceremony was actually officiated by Krasinski, who got especially ordained for the occasion.
After the couple said their ‘I do’s’ the cast members popped up on-screen dancing to Chris Brown’s “Forever.”
This whole thing was orchestrated after the real-life couple’s proposal was oddly familiar, echoing Jim’s (Krasinski) to Pam (Jenna Fisher) on the hit show. “Susan and John, because you so elegantly ripped off our show for your proposal, I feel like it’s only fitting that you rip off the wedding too,” Krasinski said.

]]>Guest host Ellie Kemper welcomed her former The Office co-stars Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, on Monday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The episode served as a mini reunion for the three and as a great opportunity to talk whether they would ever do a reboot or reunion of the hit show.
“I would not do an Office reboot but I would love to do a reunion special,” Fischer told Kemper. “I would like to get us all together again.”
But her co-stars Kemper and Kinsey are more than willing.
“I would do anything they called me to do. So if you want to call me, I’m around,” Kinsey said.
“I’m with you, Angela!” Kemper added.
Check out the video of the three below.

]]>John Krasinski, who starred as Jim on the NBC series throughout its 9 seasons, has often said that he would be keen for a revival of the show which was adapted from the UK series created by and starring Ricky Gervais.
But could we imagine a reunion of The Office without Michael Scott?
We might just have to if we really want one because Steve Carell has said he won’t be returning to Dunder Mifflin (despite some of his co-stars recently encouraging him to when he recently hosted Saturday Night Live…)
“I feel like I’m a broken record, talking about this because I get asked about it. The show is way more popular now than when it was on the air. I just can’t see it being the same thing, and I think most folks would want it to be the same thing, but it wouldn’t be. Ultimately, I think it’s maybe best to leave well enough alone and just let it exist as what it was. You’d literally have to have all of the same writers, the same producers, the same directors, and the same actors, and even with all of those components, it just wouldn’t be the same. So, no. But, I love the show. It was the most exciting time, and all of those people are my friends. We all love it. It was a special thing. It was a special thing before people thought it was a special thing. It was special to us, before other people started feeling that way. But, no,” Steve said during an interview with Collider.
Well, we’ll always have the minutes…

]]>NBC’s president Bob Greenblatt earlier told Deadline that he often talks to The Office showrunner and writer Greg Daniels about revival.
“We often talk about The Office,” he said. “I’ve talked to Greg (Daniels) four times over the past few years. It’s always, ‘Maybe someday, but not now’. There is certainly an open invitation, but we don’t have anything happening right now. If he wants to do it, I would do it.”
Mindy Kaling, who worked as the writer for the show and portrayed the character of Kelly Kapoor, previously said that she would like to participate in the project if the opportunity occurs.
“I loved working on the show and I was there for eight years,” said Kaling on The Talk in September. “I think that if Greg Daniels, who did the American version of the show, he’s such a genius. And if he were to be in charge of it, I can’t imagine that I wouldn’t want to help out in some way or write, and I feel like probably the rest of the cast feels the same.”
The Office originally aired on NBC for nine seasons, from 2005 to 2013. An adaptation of the British series of the same name, the TV show depicted the everyday lives of office employees in Dunder Mifflin Paper Company and was filmed in a single-camera setup in order to simulate the look of an actual documentary. During its run, The Office won five Primetime Emmy Awards including one for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2006.
