The 65th Grammy Awards are just around the corner and we finally know who’ll be performing during the highly-anticipated ceremony. The first set of performers has been announced, and it includes the likes of Lizzo, Bad Bunny, and Mary J. Blige.

The R&B legend Blige is entering this year’s Grammys with six nominations, but she won’t be the only nominee performing at the show. Lizzo is in the running for five awards, while Bad Bunny scored three nods. They’re all competing for one of the ceremony’s main awards: album of the year.

The list of performers will also include Brandi Carlile, nominated for seven awards, and fellow nominees Steve Lacy and Luke Combs. Sam Smith and Kim Petras are scheduled to perform their song “Unholy”, which is in the running for the best pop duo/group performance. The Recording Academy is expected to announce the rest of the performers in the upcoming days.

The 65th Grammy Awards will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5 with Trevor Noah returning as a host for the third time. The list of nominees is led by Beyoncé with nine nods, followed by Kendrick Lamar with eight, and Adele and Brandi Carlile with seven each.

Only a week after the Oscars, the world’s biggest stars gathered for another major ceremony on Sunday night—the Grammy Awards. Jon Batiste came into the night as the most nominated artist and picked up five awards, closely followed by Silk Sonic with four.

Batiste was in the running for 11 trophies but only picked up one in the main field—album of the year for We Are. He also received two awards in the American Roots categories, picked up the trophy for the best music video for “Freedom”, and shared the Grammy for best score soundtrack for visual media for his work on Soul with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

Silk Sonic’s triumph at the Grammys was far more impressive since they came into the night with just four nominations, and managed to win all of them. Their single “Leave the Door Open” won awards for record and song of the year, in addition to best R&B performance and best R&B song.

It was also a big night for Olivia Rodrigo, who won a total of three awards, including best new artist and best pop vocal album for Sour. The list of artists walking away with three awards also included D’Mile, Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, and CeCe Winans.
The 64th Annual Grammy Awards took place on April 3 in Las Vegas with Trevor Noah serving as a host.

The Grammy Awards are just a few weeks away and we finally know the first round of performers set to appear at this ceremony. The Recording Academy announced that Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and BTS will take the stage at the upcoming Grammys.

Eilish and Rodrigo are both in the running for seven awards, including album, record, and song of the year. Eilish owes her nominations to her recent album Happier Than Ever and the single of the same name, while Rodrigo is competing with her debut album Sour and the breakout single “Drivers License”. BTS received a nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with “Butter”.

The first round of announced performers also includes Brothers Osborne, Brandi Carlile, and Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow. Carlile and Lil Nas X are in the running for five awards, including the record of the year, while Brothers Osborne and Harlow received two nominations each.

The 2022 Grammy Awards are set to take place on April 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, with Trevor Noah returning as the host. Jon Batiste topped this year’s list of nominations with a total of eleven nods and he’s closely followed by Doja Cat, H.E.R., and Justin Bieber with eight each.

Beyoncé and Taylor Swift were two of the artists leading this year’s Grammy nominations, and they ended up making history at the ceremony. Beyoncé topped the list of winners with a total of four awards, while Taylor Swift won her third album of the year prize with Folklore.

Beyoncé’s latest wins brought her career Grammy total to 28, making her the most rewarded female artist in the history of this ceremony. She won two Grammys with the remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” and collected additional two trophies for the best R&B performance with “Black Parade” and the best music video with “Brown Skin Girl”.

Taylor Swift walked away with only one Grammy, but it was a big achievement. She collected the album of the year trophy with Folklore, making this her third win in this coveted category. Record of the year award was won by Billie Eilish for the song “Everything I Wanted”.

The list of major winners at this award show also included Megan Thee Stallion, who was crowned as the best new artist, and H.E.R. who won the song of the year award with “I Can’t Breath”.

The 2021 Grammys, which are taking place on March 14, have announced the performers for the night.

Some of the biggest names in the music industry will be taking the stage including Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, Cardi B, BTS, Brandi Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Mickey Guyton, Haim, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Megan Thee Stallion, Maren Morris, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, Harry Styles, and Taylor Swift.

Many of the artists performing are nominees and several will be making their performing debut at the Grammys like Harry Styles, Megan Thee Stallion, Bad Bunny, DaBaby, Doja Cat, and Mickey Guyton.

“Artists will be coming together, while still safely apart, to play music for each other as a community and celebrate the music that unites us all,” according to the announcement.

The ceremony will be hosted by Trevor Noah and will be taking place “in and around” the Los Angeles Convention Center under COVID protocol. The audience will only consist of performers, nominees, and a small number of their guests.

The nominations were announced last year and Dua Lipa leads with five, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Swift is going into the night with four, and Eilish and Beyoncé have three nominations.

Due to coronavirus-related concerns, the Grammy Awards have been postponed to March 14.

“After thoughtful conversations with health experts, our host and artists scheduled to appear, we are rescheduling the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards to be broadcast Sunday, March 14, 2021,” a statement reads.

The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah is scheduled to host the ceremony, which was supposed to take place on January 31. The move isn’t entirely unexpected because for months the Grammys have been dealing with complications with staging the award show that usually has an audience of 18,000-plus people and is self-billed as “Music’s Biggest Night” during the pandemic.

In September Harvey Mason jr., Chair & Interim President/CEO of the Recording Academy, told Variety that the initial plan was to hold the event at Staples Center in Los Angeles with a limited or no audience. In late November he said the show would take place “in and around Downtown Los Angeles,” which opened the possibility that performances would be staged from multiple venues.

Nominations for the Grammys were announced in late November and Beyoncé leads the pack with nine, followed by six for Taylor Swift, Roddy Ricch, and Dua Lipa. Brittany Howard, of Alabama Shakes fame, has five, and Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Phoebe Bridgers, Justin Bieber, jazz pianist John Beasley, and classical producer David Frost were nominated with four.

Demi Lovato delivered one of the most heart wrenching and powerful live performances at this year’s Grammy Awards and proudly made an epic comeback in front of the whole world with her emotional and deeply personal new song “Anyone.”

Lovato’s voice started cracking at the very beginning of her performance, but she persisted and delivered the rest of her new ballad while on the verge of tears. It was her first live performance since summer 2018 when she took a break from music following devastating overdose.

The former Disney star discussed her return to the spotlight with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 before sharing her new single with the world. This song was written only four days before her personal tragedy, and she saw it as a “cry for help” but still couldn’t wait to share it with the world.

“I feel really excited and I’m ready. I feel like I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long… Like I just want to go up there and tell my story. And it’s only telling a fraction of my story, but it’s still a little bit, and it’s enough to kind of show the world where I’ve been,” Lovato shared.

The Grammy Awards are only a few weeks away, and we finally know who’s going to perform at this ceremony. The first wave of performers had been revealed, and it includes Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Aerosmith, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

Lizzo was the most obvious pick to perform at this ceremony, and not only because she rocked our world at every award show that she appeared at. The “Truth Hurts” singer also topped the list of Grammy nominations with a total of eight nods, including a nomination for the coveted record of the year award.

She was closely followed by Lil Nas X and Billie Eilish, who’s also set to perform at the Grammys. They’ll be going against each other in several major categories, including best new artist and record of the year.

Blake Shelton will also hit the Grammy stage alongside his fellow The Voice judge and real-life partner Gwen Stefani. He announced the news by tweeting there’s no one else he would rather share the stage with at this ceremony.

Grammy Awards are scheduled to take place on January 26th, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards took place on March 14th, with Trevor Noah hosting the ceremony.
