Lizzo just took a DNA test, and it turns out she’s an eight-time Grammy-nominated artist!
The “Juice” singer topped the list of Grammy Award nominations with a total of eight nods. Lizzo will be competing in several major categories at this year’s ceremony, including album of the year with the deluxe edition of her latest LP Cuz I Love You. Her chart-topping hit “Truth Hurts” scored three nominations in categories record of the year, song of the year, and best pop solo performance.
The list of major contenders at the upcoming ceremony also includes Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X with six nods each. They were closely followed by Ariana Grande, H.E.R. and Eilish’s brother and songwriting partner Finneas O’Connell, who all scored five nominations.
The 2020 Grammy Awards will take place on January 26th at Staples Center in Los Angeles, with Alicia Keys returning to host the ceremony for the second time in a row.
