Tomei will star as an outspoken psychologist specializing in toxic relationships. She’s been burnt by love too many times and wants to prevent her daughter (Bravo) from making the same mistake. She convinces her BFF (Cola) to embark on an emergency trip to Los Angeles to stop her daughter from marrying a guy she is convinced is a narcissist.

Ann Marie Allison co-wrote the script for this film alongside Jenna Milly. She’ll also make her directorial debut with You’re Dating A Narcissist! and her expectations are running high.

“I am beyond thrilled that we’ve assembled a dream team of a cast to breathe life into this story, inspired by the tales of everyday people worldwide. My hope is to craft a film that resonates with anyone who’s danced with a narcissistic partner, offering humor, heart, and healing,” said Allison in a statement.

In addition to Tomei (Spider-Man: Far from Home), Cola (Joy Ride), and Bravo (Cherry), this rom-com will also star Marco Pigossi (Invisible City) and José María Yazpik (Narcos: Mexico).

Multiple outlets confirm that Marisa Tomei has joined the cast of the forthcoming revenge thriller. 

The Oscar-winning actress will star alongside Jason Momoa. In addition to the duo, the movie also stars Isabela Merced, Adria Arjona, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Justin Bartha.

Sweet Girl is cinematographer Brian Andrew Mendoza’s directorial debut. The feature film re-teams Mendoza and Momoa — Mendoza served as the DP on the actor’s action movie Braven. 

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the film sees Momoa playing a devastated husband who vows to find the people responsible for the murder of his wife while protecting what he has left, his daughter (Merced),

Tomei, a three-time Academy Award nominee is set to play a US senator.

If you haven’t seen Marvel’s latest smash hit yet, new trailer for its follow-up is one huge spoiler since it shows Peter Parker dealing with the aftermath of the previous film. Teen superhero thinks he’ll finally get a break from his crazy adventure during a school trip to Europe, but that’s not the case.

Peter ends up being ambushed by Nick Fury, who needs help from the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. He’s forced to team up with Mysterio, and go against elemental creatures from another dimension.

Tom Holland and Samuel L. Jackson will return to their respective roles as Peter Parker and Nick Fury. Spider-Man: Far From Home also stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya and Marisa Tomei, and it’s scheduled to come out on July 2.

The still untitled project for Universal hails from Apatow and Davidson who co-wrote the script along with Dave Sirus.

While details on the logline are being under wraps, it is known that the feature is a coming-of-age comedy set in New York and is a semi-autobiographical story of Davidson growing up in Staten Island.

Tomei, who plays Aunt May in the current Spider-Man features, will play Davidson’s mother. Bel Powley and Bill Burr are also on the call sheet.

Apatow is the founder of Apatow productions through which he developed a variety of television series including the acclaimed Girls. He also directed The 40-Year-Old Virgin(2005), Knocked Up (2007), Funny People (2009), and This Is 40 (2012).

Davidson currently stars on Saturday Night Live.

The comedy is set to shoot this summer in New York City and is scheduled for a June 19, 2020, release.
