Netflix’s Sweet Girl adds to its cast.
Multiple outlets confirm that Marisa Tomei has joined the cast of the forthcoming revenge thriller.
The Oscar-winning actress will star alongside Jason Momoa. In addition to the duo, the movie also stars Isabela Merced, Adria Arjona, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Justin Bartha.
Sweet Girl is cinematographer Brian Andrew Mendoza’s directorial debut. The feature film re-teams Mendoza and Momoa — Mendoza served as the DP on the actor’s action movie Braven.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the film sees Momoa playing a devastated husband who vows to find the people responsible for the murder of his wife while protecting what he has left, his daughter (Merced),
Tomei, a three-time Academy Award nominee is set to play a US senator.
