]]>Players is set to tackle the world of E-sports, following a fictional pro-League of Legends team who pursue a championship after years of heartache.
Just like American Scandal, Players will be filmed in documentary style, following a fictional pro League of Legends team or LoL, looking to win its first championship after years of close calls and disappointment. According to Entertainment Weekly, the team’s 17-year-old rookie prodigy and 27-year-old veteran gamer will have to put aside their egos in order to work together if they have any hope of winning it all.
Players has scored a series order at Paramount+. CBS Studios and Funny or Die, which teamed on American Vandal, will also produce Players. League of Legends maker Riot Games is also involved in the project. Yacenda and Perrault will serve as executive producers on the series along with Joe Farrell and Mike Farah of Funny or Die.

]]>Another hit ’90s TV series is hopping on the reboot train with multiple outlets confirming that a Power Rangers revival is in the world from Paramount Pictures and Jonathan Entwistle.
The popular franchise could make a comeback with the studio is reportedly in early negotiations with The End of the F***ing World creator to helm a new feature film about the group of kids who become superheroes.
The plan is to have Entwistle direct a new film. The studio tapped Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway scribe Patrick Burleigh to pen the script.
The latest Power Rangers feature debuted in 2017 doing miserably in the box office earring only $142 million worldwide on a budget of $100 million per Variety.

]]>According to the reports, the reboot will be produced by Fast & Furious‘ Neal Moritz and David Permut will be an executive producer. The script will be written by Oren Uziel under who’s belt we can find movies like 22 Jump Street, The Cloverfield Paradox and the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog. He will also write the sequel to Detective Pikachu.
Face/Off sees John Travolta and Nicolas Cage at the height of their popularity as action movie stars. The duo faces each other as FBI agent Sean Archer and a terrorist Castor Troy, who by some convoluted circumstances exchange their appearances when Archer tries to find out where Troy has hidden a bomb.
The movie was a success when it was released and it went on to gross $245 million on an $80 million dollars’ budget. It is now considered by action fans to be one of the classics of the genre.

]]>The remake of the 1988 Christmas comedy that starred Bill Murray is in very early stages of development by Hart and Paramount. The modern-day retelling of Charles Dickens’ novel A Christmas Carol, followed a greedy TV executive (Murray) who is visited by three ghosts in an effort to regain his Christmas spirit.
The original was directed by Richard Donner and co-starred Karen Allen, Bobcat Goldthwait, and Robert Mitchum.
Hart will produce the project via his HartBeat Productions and will most likely take on a starring role in the feature. The search for a writer is still on.
Hart is currently one of the voice stars of The Secret Life of Pets 2. You can see him next in the sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which is slated to arrive in theaters in December.
