“When Calls the Heart has continued to be a standout amongst our Hallmark catalog… The uplifting nature of the show paired with the love and positivity in the storytelling makes for a very heartwarming television experience, and it’s only going to get bigger and better in Season 11,” said Daly in a statement.

When Calls the Heart premiered on Hallmark in 2014, and it centers on a young teacher Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), who leaves her old high-society life behind after being assigned to teach in a small coal-mining town in Western Canada.

Season 10 of When Calls the Heart will premiere on July 30. Krakow, who also serves as the show’s executive producer, said she’s beyond excited to share it with the world because it’s full of beautiful moments and exciting twists and turns.

The leading lady Erin Krakow, who also serves as one of the show’s executive producers, promised “more adventures, laughs, tears, and stories of romance throughout the community of Hope Valley” in Season 10.

It centers on a passionate young teacher Elizabeth Thatcher, who is assigned to teach in a tiny coal country community after a lifetime of being used to big-city comforts. Erin Krakow plays the lead role, while the rest of the cast includes Jack Wagner, Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith, Andrea Brooks, and Chris McNally.

Following Loughlin’s involvement in the college admissions scandal, the show took a hiatus mid-March and fans were concerned about the show’s future. News of an additional season comes only three days after fans received word that season 6 will resume on May 5.

On Wednesday, executive producer Brian Bird thanked the show’s fans on Instagram for “sticking with us through this challenging time. Life throws all of us painful curveballs, and the only way to survive is to walk right through them with courage, grace, a forgiving spirit, and most of all, hope. Entertainment Weekly also reports that the remaining episodes of Season 6 have been re-edited, so that Loughlin — who plays Abigail Stanton, the mayor of Hope Valley — has been removed.
