An eighth season of When Calls the Heart is coming to Hallmark Channel.
The renewal was announced by star Erin Krakow herself during the season seven finale.
“From my heart and home to yours, I am thrilled to announce the all-new Season 8 of When Calls the Heart, coming next year,” she said in the video announcement. “We can’t wait to see you back in Hope Valley.”
“I’m so glad that the show continues to resonate for so many people — even in its seventh season, “ she told ET Online. “It’s amazing and it’s a real gift to all of us that we get to continue to work on a show with such longevity.”
When Calls the Heart is Hallmark’s longest-running original. The ninth episode of season seven was its highest-rated in the series’ history.
