Some of Hollywood’s rich and famous choose to shelter their children from the limelight until much later on in life, but Beyonce doesn’t seem to mind introducing her newborns to the world early.

Beyonce posted the twins’ debut photo on Instagram yesterday with a caption that reads, “Sir Carter and Rumi, 1 month today.” The post has received so much love and over 10 million likes.

Photographer, Mason Poole, had the honor of taking the twins’ first photo at the Carters’ ocean-side home in Malibu. The photo is beautiful and resembles her pregnancy announcement.

Beyonce used Instagram heavily to let us follow her pregnancy, so it’s only fitting that it be the chosen social media platform to introduce the twins.

We’ve been hanging on the edge of our seats, waiting to see the twins for the first time. The announcement was sweet satisfaction.

Beyonce is known for being “seen but not heard.” She controls the interviews she agrees to and the information published about her. That’s why we know if we want to keep up with her life, we’ll have to stalk her social media pages where everything is produced by her.

That might be why her mother said this when re-posting the photo of the twins, “I’m so happy my baby shared a photo of her babies with the world. Proud grandma. Hello, Sir Carter and Rumi Carter. Boy and girl. What a blessing.”

Jay-Z mentions the birth of the twins on his new album, 4:44, released on June 30th.

Congrats to the Carters. The twins are the sweetest!
