The BookTok phenomenon It Ends with Us is finally getting its movie adaptation and its cast is shaping up to be amazing. Brandon Sklenar, the breakout star of the Yellowstone prequel series 1923, will star in the long-awaited adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel.

It Ends with Us centers on Lily Bloom, who believes she finally found the love of her life in the brilliant neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid. Their relationship is put in jeopardy after her high school love sweetheart, Atlas Corrigan, comes back into the picture.

Blake Lively will lead the film in the role of Lily Bloom, while Sklenar will join her as Atlas Corrigan. Jane the Virgin actor Justin Baldoni was previously cast as Ryle Kincaid, and he’ll also direct the film, based on the script by Christy Hall.

Lively and Baldoni are also coming on board as executive producers, along with Steve Sarowitz, Andrew Calof, and Colleen Hoover. Saks Picture Company’s Alex Saks and Wayfarer Studios’ Jamey Heath will produce on behalf of their respective studios.

Brandon Sklenar’s star is currently on the rise thanks to his breakout role on the Yellowstone prequel series 1923. His credits also include the Paramount+ series The Offer and the films Midway and Karen.
