Before everyone gets all glammed up to find out what the best films and performances of the past year were at the Oscars, the worst films of 2017 got their chance to, um, shine at the 2018 Razzie Awards.

The event, which recognizes the worst that Hollywood has to offer, is traditionally held the night before the Academy Awards.

The Emoji Movie was the biggest “winner” of the night, scooping Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screen Combo (for any two obnoxious emojis), and Worst Screenplay.

Worst Actor went to Tom Cruise (not for his couch jumping antics, but rather) for The Mummy, while Tyler Perry took home Worst Actress for yet another Madea embodiment — this time in BOO 2: A Madea Halloween.

Mel Gibson received Worst Supporting Actor for Daddy’ Home 2, and Kim Basinger took home a Golden Raspberry for Fifty Shades Darker. The flick also was named Worst Remake, Rip-off or Sequel.

But not all the films were appalling, as demonstrated by Baywatch which was honored with the Razzie/Rotten Tomato Award: The Razzie Nominee So Bad You Loved It!

Congrats to all the “winners”!
