The Toronto International Film Festival is coming our way this September and bringing some of the most-anticipated movies of the year along. The first slate of films set to premiere at this festival includes Joker, Ford v Ferrari, and Hustlers.

The List of the projects coming to TIFF also includes some of the year’s most promising Oscar hopefuls. Mr. Rogers biopic A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood starring Tom Hanks and John Crowley’s The Goldfinch are also a part of the lineup.

According to TIFF co-head and artistic director Cameron Bailey, the team behind this festival worked tirelessly to bring some of the year’s biggest films to Toronto this September.

“We’re thrilled to unveil galas and special presentations that bring the brightest lights in the film to our festival audience. Our new programming team has been hard at work for months to deliver the compelling stories, acclaimed filmmakers, and top onscreen talent that mark our two highest-profile sections,” said Bailey in a statement.

This year’s TIFF will kick off on September 5, with Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band serving as the opening film. It will close on September 15, with Marjane Satrapi’s latest English-language feature Radioactive.
