This year’s Brit Awards were all about extravagant looks and amazing performances, but the actual list of winners didn’t hold major surprises. Lewis Capaldi, who scored four nominations at this ceremony, was also the biggest winner with two awards.

Capaldi took the song of the year award with “Someone You Loved” and managed to scoop the best new artist trophy despite tough competition. The Best album award, however, went to Dave’s Psychodrama, who ended up beating Capaldi, Harry Styles, Michael Kiwanuka, and Stormzy to collect this accolade.

The 2020 Brit Awards took place on February 18th at the O2 Arena in London, with Jack Whitehall hosting for the third time. The list of performers included Lewis Capaldi, Lizzo, Harry Styles, and Billie Eilish, who performed her Bond theme song “No Time to Die” for the first time.
