Leaving a future birthday message for a baby can be cute if a little bit corny thing to do, but not often we get to see the baby actually getting the message in the future. In the case of friends, this happy incident actually happened.
In the 4th episode of the 10th season of the hit show, Ross had taped all the friends congratulating his daughter Emma for her 18th birthday – which was due to happen in 2020. Chandler, sarcastic as usual, says: “Hi Emma, the year is 2020, are you still enjoying your nap?”
Well, 2020 is here and we think it’s time for Emma to answer. Fortunately, Noelle Sheldon, one of the two twins that have portrayed Emma on the show, agrees. On an Instagram post, Sheldon wrote: “Just woke up from the best nap of all time, happy 2020!! (ft. my poorly done photoshop) Hope everyone has an excellent year full of family, friends, and laughter!!”
The post shows Sheldon in the Central Perk holding a Central Perk cup.
So it seems the answer to Chandler’s answer is definitely a yes.
