It’s a great time to be a Batmen fan. Apart from getting a glimpse of the next movie—The Batman—fans of the dark knight who followed FanDome got some news about more upcoming Batman projects.

In a panel dedicated to Superman: Man of Tomorrow, the moderator Matt Bomer shared details about animated movies of Batman that are scheduled for next year. The main attraction will come in the summer and fall of 2021 with a two-part adaptation of one of the most famous story arcs of Batman, Batman: The Long Halloween.

The original run was published across 13 issues between 1996 and 1997 created by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale. The story is set in the early years of Batman’s career in which he fights a serial killer who goes by the name Holiday. Holiday commits murders based on different holidays.

Two other animated movies will be Batman: Soul of the Dragon and Justice Society World War II. Both of these movies will be original productions. In Soul of the Dragon Batman will face off a villain from his past. The plot will take place in the 1970s and he will get help from three martial artists: Richard Dragon, Ben Turner, and Lady Shiva.
