“30 Rock” to Air Hour-long Uprfornt Special

30 Rock is returning to NBC to air a remotely produced Upfront hour-long special.

The special is set to air on July 16 and the original cast members including Tina Fey (Liz Lemon), Alec Baldwin (Jack Donaghy), Tracy Morgan (Tracy Jordan), Jane Krakowski (Jenna Maroney), and Jack McBrayer (Kenneth Parcell) will reprise their roles. NBC described it as “a first-of-its-kind all-audience upfront event.”

The 30 Rock special will be filmed remotely and the story will be a promo for NBCUniversal programming. It’s first set to air on NBC and then it will be rebroadcast on USA, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, CNBC, and Peacock.

The special will feature guest appearances across NBCUniveral which will highlight new and returning programs from NBC, Telemundo, USA Network, SYFY, E!, Bravo, etc.

“We’re all happy to have this excuse to (remotely) work together again for NBC,” said 30 Rock executive producers Fey and Robert Carlock in a statement. “To quote Kenneth the Page, there are only two things we love in this world, television and everyone.”

NBC also recently announced that Parks and Recreation will be airing a new episode with the stars reprising their roles in a new story.
