5 Seconds of Summer had a long way to go before becoming one of the most popular pop-rock bands in the world, and the new music video for their latest single “Old Me” celebrates their incredible journey.

The nostalgic video opens with a shot of a train taking the band to their next concert, and they’re also traveling back to the past, and recalling their most cherished memories.

From having jam sessions as kids to performing their first gigs by each other’s side, the members of 5 Seconds of Summer went through a lot together, and this video perfectly captures all those tiny moments that made them who they are today.

Hannah Lux Davis, who previously directed their “No Shame” video, was also in charge of helming this one, and she had a great time teaming up with 5 Seconds of Summer again.

“Working with 5SOS on this special project was so exciting. I love this band so much and I’m honored that I was able to collaborate with them to showcase their career progression and expansion,” said Davis in a press release.
