Some celebrities like to keep their children away from the media, but tennis phenom Serena Williams wants to share the journey of her first pregnancy with all of her fans and has done it in a completely unique way!

“Meet Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.,” Williams wrote in the caption of an Instagram post which gave fans the first glimpse of her precious new baby girl.

Fortunately for all of us, Williams didn’t stop there. With the help of her fiance, reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, she documented her entire pregnancy in a heartwarming video diary that she shared online shortly after Olympia’s birth.

While the video is only 2-minutes in length, it shows many of the highlights from the couple’s pregnancy journey. Some of the most interesting moments include the first ultrasound, Alexis building the crib, pictures of Serena’s baby bump at different stages, and of course, the grand finale: Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr’s arrival.

“Welcome, Olympia, we’re so happy to meet you. We made you a video of our adventure together so far,” the proud new daddy wrote when he posted the video on Instagram. Many couples can identify with the fact that not all pregnancies are easy, and while the pregnancy video that Serena & Alexis posted was mainly positive, Williams did mention that there were “a lot of complications” along the way. The pregnancy involved Williams being in the hospital for a few days after the delivery, but all ended well!

“Born: September 1, 2017. Weight: 6 lb 14 oz., Grand Slam Titles: 1,” Williams wrote when she announced the pregnancy.

… but are you ready?
