We’re getting a follow up to Cardi B’s “WAP”.

Over the past few days, the hip-hop artist has been teasing that she has an announcement to make before releasing the cover art for her new single “UP”, which will debut on Friday.

“My new single “UP” drops this Friday! LETS GOOOOOO!”, Cardi posted on social media.

The cover art for “UP” has Cardi hanging from above a rooftop pool dressed in a sparkly pink outfit, while swinging from a clear half bubble. In a caption for the video she wrote, “This outfit was all sticker on.”

Cardi released “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion in August 2020. The song was a major hit topping the Billboard Hot 100. Cardi was also named Billboard‘s Woman of the Year in December.

The singer’s last album 2018’s Invasion of Privacy was her debut and we’re still waiting for a follow-up album, which Cardi has said is in the works. The album featured the hits “I Like It” (with Bad Bunny and J Balvin), “Be Careful”, and “Ring”.

So far, no release date has been set for the album.
