“A Boy Called Christmas” Unveils Epic Cast of Leading Ladies

If you’ve ever dreamed of having Kristen Wiig, Sally Hawkins, and Maggie Smith in the same movie – your dream will soon become a reality. The three amazing actresses just joined the cast of family dramaA Boy Called Christmas.

This exciting project will reimagine the origin story of Father Christmas, and focus on ordinary boy Nikolas who’s on a quest to find his father who left home to search for the fabled village of the elves called Elfhelm.

A Boy Called Christmas will be directed by Gil Kenan, who previously received an Oscar nomination for his animated film Monster House. The script that he co-wrote alongside Ol Parker is based on the first in the series of books written by Matt Haig.

Wiig, Hawkins, and Smith aren’t the only actors who already accepted roles in this project. A Boy Called Christmas will also star Jim Broadbent, Zoe Colletti, Toby Jones, and Michiel Huisman.

The movie will be shot in Lapland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and London. It’s still unclear when it’s going to premiere, but something tells us we should expect it just in time for Christmas next year.
