Where did SpongeBob SquarePants live before his pineapple under the sea?

Nickelodeon has ordered a prequel to the animated series which will focus on SpongeBob as a smaller sponge.
Entitled Kamp Koral the show will revolve around 10-year-old SpongeBob’s time at the summer camp of the same name and the adventures that he and his friends get up to.
The prequel comes as the original cartoon celebrates its 20th anniversary and spin-offs about Sandy Cheeks and Plankton are in the works.
“SpongeBob has an incredible universe to expand upon and the green light for Kamp Koral is a testament to the strength and longevity of these characters known and loved by generations of fans around the world,” said Nickelodeon’s executive vice president of animation production and development, Ramsey Naito.
Kamp Koral will feature a CGI version of the absorbent, yellow, porous character we’ve come to love.
