“A Quiet Place Part II” Hints at More Dangerous Creatures

The Abbotts are not the only survivors in A Quiet Place Part II.

Following the events of the first film, Emily Blunt must continue to protect her family when the sequel hits screens in two months’ time. While fleeing from the farm attack, she, her children played by Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds, as well as the newborn baby, discover other survivors, Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.

A Quiet Place, which marked John Krasinski’s directorial debut, grossed $340 million worldwide and much critical acclaim, as well as a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for Blunt. Although Krasinski’s character is not in the sequel, he is once again in the director’s chair.

The official plot script reads: “Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realise that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.”

As Murphy’s character says, “The people that are left are not a kind of people worth saving.”

A Quiet Place Part II is in theatres on March 20th
